DuanwuWe are wishing all players a happy and prosperous Duanwu Festival and holiday.

For those unfamiliar with the Duanwu Festival, perhaps the name Dragon Boat Festival will ring some bells. It is one and the same. In fact, it goes by many names, depending on where in the world it is being celebrated…

端午节 in China, 端午節 in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. You may see it written (and romanized) as Duānwǔjié, Tuen Ng Jit or Tung Ng Jit.

Regardless of the name, it will be celebrated the same way. Eating zongzi, drinking wine, racing dragon boats and enjoying the holiday!

Here’s a little something else you should know about the time of the Dragon Boat Festival. It coincides with China’s summer solstice, when the sun is at its peak and male energy is believed to be at its strongest (as opposed to the winder solstice when the ladies come into their own!).

This is why the Dragon, a powerful and masculine creature) is the symbol of the Duanwu.

Big question is, will all that energy translate into a lot of luck and fortune?

We sincerely home so.

Especially if you’re using the day to lay some World Cup bets, or play live casino games!
